Carnival of Useless Things

The lead piece in the exhibition, Carnival of Useless Things, uses exaggeration and absurdity to parody a late-night cable infomercial, and our often-failed attempts to repurpose our consumer waste into even more useless stuff. The video and accompanying three sculptural installations revolve loosely around a carnival theme, with a homemade ball-toss game where the winner takes home a (useless) goldfish.
